I made my daughter a grilled cheese sandwich yesterday and as I was cutting it in triangles, the melted cheese oozing out of the bread just looked soooo delicious. I wanted one for myself, so I made one. I decided to make a hearty grilled cheese sandwich by adding ham, tomatoes, and spinach. It definitely hit the spot.
This is just a simple turkey sandwich recipe I threw together to use up the leftover cajun roast turkey from Thanksgiving. It’s great for lunch or filling snacks for kids.
This is a savory egg salad filling that I made for lunch a couple of days ago. The Mexican taco cheese and a touch of spicy brown mustard combo was really good with the boiled eggs. I added another notch by throwing in a few capers. The sandwich filling was creamy with the right amount of salty flavor.
Think about this, Italian Sausages cooked then simmered in Prego Italian Sausage & Garlic Spaghetti sauce, then stuffed in slightly toasted French bread, then finished off with shredded mozzarella cheese that would deliciously melt on top thanks to the heat from the sauce and bread. This is what you’ll get. Nothing fancy but scrumptious nonetheless.

Food Lion had a buy-one-get-one-free sale on their rotisserie chicken that other day. They were cooking the new batches for the end of the day so the chicken that were cooked earlier in the day had to be put in the cold area to preserve and sell. We were actually going to wait a few more minutes for the new batches but the salesclerk said the already cooked yet cold chicken are on sale. BOGO she said so I was like yah know, That’s $5.99 for 2 whole Rotisserie Chicken. I could easily warm it up in the oven or in the microwave.
As soon as we got home, I turned the oven on to warm up the bbq flavored whole chicken while I put the groceries away. Let me just say that we tore that up for dinner. Poor chicken didn’t see it coming. The next day, I decided to use a portion of the other whole chicken(the free one) to make a filling for a hearty sandwich.

You could actually eat this sautéed Keilbasa sausage with yellow peppers and mushrooms as is, or with bread on the side or as a sandwich. Either way is good, and definitely easy to make. Make it for lunch or dinner.
I told my husband a week or so ago that we should eat more sandwiches. He replied by reminding me of what I’ve said years ago which was, “I’m not a sandwich girl.” Well he’s right.
