LATE POST: I finally have time to share our Thanksgiving feast this year which was spent with my brother-in-law’s family same like last year. Pardon my lack of perfectly styled pictures because the reality is, when we’re all together and we’re all ready to eat there’s just really no time to make everything pretty for pictures. Nevertheless, everything was delicious.
Super easy turkey seasoning. I went with creole butter this year. I usually rub butter on the skin but since this marinade already has butter in it, I just rubbed the outside with it too.
Turkey was cooked perfectly. We also had ham from my brother-in-law but didn’t have time to take a picture of it.
For our sides we went with the usual mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn bread casserole, green beans & artichokes casserole, and my sister-in-law’s crock pot mac ‘n’ cheese. Not it the picture was the rolls, butter, and homemade gravy.
I went for the no-bake pumpkin cheesecake this year instead of my usual baked version. It was pretty good. I will share the recipe soon. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.
