I’m always practicing my cupcake decorating skills. Sometimes the frosting looks like how I intended it to look, sometimes it’s just total blob. But like they said, practice makes perfect. I’m quite satisfied with my rosette piping here. I have so much room, and I mean much much much much room for improvement but I’ll take these for now.

When Filipinos say “fruit salad“, especially around the Holidays, they’re mostly referring to this fruit salad dessert which consists of fruit cocktail, palm fruit, coconut gel, condense milk, whip cream, and sometimes with mandarin oranges. This fruit salad is a staple dessert during Christmas or New Year’s Eve in Filipino homes. I actually like it during Summer too coz it’s chilled before serving which makes it so refreshing to beat the summer heat here in the US.
