Energy Efficient Kitchen Appliances From Kleenmaid

I wrote about my dream kitchen back in January so now I’m going to write about what cool kitchen appliances I would like to be in it. Yah know, aside from the usual oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc. While we don’t live eco-friendly as much as committed eco-friendly people do I’d like to believe that we do our share in our own little ways. If I’d get to build my dream kitchen I’d love to have Eco friendly cooking appliances, meaning they’re all energy efficient. Wouldn’t it be nice to have Eco friendly cooking appliances for your home as well?

The picture above is called an elevator oven. Interesting, no? I’ve never heard or seen of such a thing until now. The cool features are below:

Pastry: lower heating-element
Pizza and Bread: lower heating element + circular ventilated

Salamander – food warming
Semi-flush top styling

Having a gas cooktop is practically a novelty for me coz for some reason, 15 years of being married and cooking in 7 different apartments and houses that we’ve lived in, I’ve gotten electric stoves. So I am definitely ready for a gas stove soon.

Our old house had a dishwasher. I don’t have that now so I’ve been doing dishes by hand. Sometimes my son does it as part of his chores. A similar free standing or built under dishwasher like this would be a requirement while searching for our new place when we move back to New York. What I like about this one from Kleenmaid is that it has a few eco-options such as eco wash, eco temp, normal eco wash, and normal eco temp.
