Grilled Soy-Honey Pork Steaks

I hope you’re enjoying the summer grilling up meat. That’s one the best parts of Summer, no? Here’s a very simple combination of marinade that’s good with pork steaks or pork chops. All you have to do is wait for the marinating process to happen. So the best thing to do is marinate the meat at night. Store it in the fridge, go to sleep, dream about the delicious Grilled Soy-Honey Pork Steaks that you’re going to make for dinner the next day. If you can’t wait that long for dinner when you wake up in the morning, feel free to grill them up for lunch. I’m sure you can search this food blog for something else to make for dinner :) .

Recipe type: Dinner, Grilling, Pork
Author: Feistycook
Serves: 3-4
INGREDIENTS
  • 3-4 pork steaks
  • 3/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • sprinkle of black pepper
  • lemon juice (a wedge of lemon)
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a marinating bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, lemon juice and black pepper. Stir everything together. Place the pork steaks into the bowl. Move the steaks around to make sure they’re coated with the marinade. Cover, then store in the fridge to marinate overnight.
  2. Grill over medium heat, 8-10 minutes each side. Brush the pork steaks with the marinade before turning to grill the other side.

I served the pork steaks with potato wedges and peas.
