Salads, 2 Ways

I actually “made” this fruit salad very early on this month but I neglected to post it here since I already posted it in my Facebook and Twitter. I got so excited to show off what a beautiful fruit salad I “made” that I forgot where it was intended for. Anyhoo, I said “made” coz there’s really no making process that went on. All I did was buy watermelon, grapes and strawberries, cut the watermelon in half, then scooped out cute rounded balls. I tossed them with sliced strawberries and whole grapes. A perfect fruit salad for the Summer.

A few days after I made that fruit salad, I enjoyed a plate of organic mixed greens with leftover lemon pepper chicken, and some of the fruits. I drizzled a little bit of ranch dressing then devoured my fruit & mixed greens with cold leftover chickensalad/strong>.

Enjoy both kinds of refreshing and healthy salads anytime to beat the summer heat. Serve them to your garden or barbecue parties this year. 4th of July is coming soon by the way.

NOTE: You can use vinaigrette instead of the ranch dressing.

Hi Maiylah, haven’t had the chance to go through last week’s Friday list. I’ve been sick plus anniversary with hubby. I’ll do both Friday list this weekend :)
