I wish I could say I made this White Chocolate Decadence Cake so I could brag profusely about my cake decorating skills, but alas, I didn’t. I bought it at Wal-Mart for $7. As much as I love cooking and fiddling in my kitchen, I’m not ashamed to admit in buying store-bought cakes once in a while. Especially when it looks good such as this one and the price is right.
White Chocolate Decadence Cake is a moist white cake with creamy icing, white chocolate shavings plus white and chocolate icing drizzle. Is it pure decadence of white chocolate? Not really. The cake is definitely moist, and I love the white chocolate shavings and drizzle, but I don’t like the creamy icing. That was too strong for me which is ironic coz I was expecting more of the white chocolate flavor.
Nevertheless, the cake is good for the nights when we’re craving for something sweet after dinner and I’m just too lazy to whip up a batch of chocolate chip cookies or cupcakes or make a beautiful cake such as this. Next time I’m going to pick the dark chocolate version just to compare which cake is better. As long as it’s only $7 of course…
