Feistycook Link Love For September 3rd: Chicken Recipes
When everything is calm and settled at the end of the day, that’s when I blog hop to visit food blogs. There are just so many amazing foodbloggers out there. Sometimes I would comment on a particular post but sometimes I’d get shy and just leave. Leaving without saying anything is really silly(and rude) in the blogging world if you think about it coz blogging is supposed to be like an interactive thing. With the upstart of Twitter and Facebook though leaving comments in blogs have slowed down drastically, unfortunately.
So I’m starting this weekend link love feature as a way to tell my fellow foodbloggers that I was in their food blog site but was too shy to leave a comment. I’m going to try to have a theme every weekend to make the links cohesive, so to speak. For this week, since I just put a bunch of chicken quarters in the oven to bake, I’ve compiled a list of chicken recipes from the fabulous foodlogging world. Enjoy!
Adora’s Box ASIAN BARBECUE CHICKEN WINGS. The mango puree is quite interesting and it gave me an A-Ha moment.
Restless Chipotle’s Chicken Paprikash. Paprika is one of my favorite spices.
Chicken Stewed In Coconut Milk by Kitchen Amoore. Cooking with coconut milk is a common practice in my kitchen.
The Cook Mobile’s Adobong Manok(chicken) In Fish Sauce. Who doesn’t love adobo?
Home Cooking Rocks’ Grilled Chicken With Peanut Butter Glaze. I’ve been making a list of recipes using peanut butter so I’d definitely make this one sometime.
Plateful of Fun’s Hainanese Chicken. So very easy to make.
Curry Chicken from Shan’s Recipes. This looks better than my chicken wings curry, hehe!
Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza from What Is Cooking Now? That sure sounds delicious, no?
Crunchy Chicken Balls from Cook This Recipe! A cool alternative to chicken nuggets.
Chicken Inasal from Baby Rambutan. There’s something about this dish’s name that have intrigued me for years. If I’m right with my translation, Inasal is something like “attitude” in English. I’ll have to make this sometime to find out how the word translates to food.
Sunny Anderson’s Grapefruit Grilled Chicken from Cooking In Stilettos. Interesting fruit to combine with chicken.
‘Till next week. Have a great chicken weekend!
