Pork Chops W/ Salsa & Onions

I’ve combined salsa with chicken a few times and I’ve always liked the flavors. Like the baked chicken with salsa and honey, and the baked chicken quarters with salsa verde. Here’s a pork variation, not baked and with onions.

Heat up oil in a pan. Brown both sides of the pork chops. 5 minutes or so on each side.

Add half a jar of salsa into the pan. Use whatever kind of salsa you have. I used corn with black beans salsa. Add 1/2 cup of water too. Stir everything around.

Place sliced onions on top. Season with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Cover the pan to cook for 35-40 minutes in medium heat. Stir occasionally.

There you go. It smells really good.

I served the pork chops with brown rice and steamed broccoli.
