I love onions. I love mushrooms. I combined them together to create a delicious marriage of flavors then served ‘em as a vegetable side dish to lamb chops. It’s fast, easy and healthy to go along with any kind of protein entree.
Using the same pan where I cooked the lamb chops, I added a little bit of oil, then added the sliced onions(1 medium) to cook until soft. Almost caramelized but not all the way. Then I added the sliced button mushrooms(about 5), season with a sprinkle of salt and pepper, stir for a bit then continue to cook for another 3 minutes or so.
