Grilled Corn In The Cob With Parmesan Cheese
If you are not taking advantage of the fresh corns this Summer then you are missing a lot. I love ‘em boiled, or chucked to cooked with lots of butter & black pepper, cornbread, added in a fresh salad or grilled. Grilling corn is really easy to do and the best time to grill corn is when you’re also grilling a main meat entree’ since the grill is already on so might as well grill corn for a side dish, right?
Un-husk fresh corns, but don’t go all the way. Leave the loosen husk on but take the hair out. Clean the corn out as well as you can. Then brush butter all over the corn, the inside only, not the husks. Cover the corn back up with the husk.
Grill each side for about 20-25 minutes each, on medium heat. Make sure the grill is covered and turn the corn over occasionally. Use a grilling tong when turning them over coz you don’t want to burn your hands.
Once grilled, use a cloth when peeling the husk out of the corn. It’s really hot so protect your hands at all times. Br4uch more butter on the grilled corn then sprinkle a generous amount of Parmesan Cheese.
Serve with grilled bbq chicken and mashed potatoes. Dinner is served!
