Pork Cutlets & Broccoli Coleslaw Sandwich

I wasn’t really sure about the combination of pork cutlets with broccoli coleslaw at first but I figured I wouldn’t how it would be if I didn’t try, right? My husband wasn’t sure about it either when I told him about it. I think he was actually afraid to eat dinner that night, hehe. But guess what? The sandwiches were pretty good. And trust me, I am not a sandwich person, but my husband is. The good thing about this sandwich is you won’t need other condiments because the sauce from the coleslaw would suffice.
INGREDIENTS:
pork cutlets (slightly bigger and thicker than usual pork cutlets)
2 cups flour
1 large egg
1/2 cup of water
salt & pepper
1/4 cup (or more) vegetable oil for frying
burger buns

Make the broccoli coleslaw first then store in the fridge to chill.
Preheat oil in a nonstick pan.
Beat the egg and water in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Put the flour in a another bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Coat the pork cutlets in the egg mixture, then drench in the flour bowl. Shake the excess flour. Repeat the process for the rest of the pork cutlets.
Fry the cutlets, both sides, in oil. Do it in batches if necessary.
Drain the oil from the cutlets by placing them in a platter covered with paper towel.

Place 1 pork cutlet on top of the bottom bun, top with coleslaw, then the top of the bun. There you go.
