Pork W/ Mushroom, Zucchini & Napa Cabbage Stir-fry
Here’s a very easy pork stir-fry recipe for those days when you’re just in a hurry to have dinner ready. Hoping of course that you’ve already had rice cooking in the rice cooker
INGREDIENTS :
-
pork, sliced in cubes (about 2 pork chops)
-
sliced onions
-
fresh garlic, finely sliced
-
button mushrooms, thinly sliced
-
1/2 zucchini, sliced thin and diagonally
-
napa cabbage, sliced in quarters
-
3 tbsp soy sauce
-
2 tbsp oyster sauce
-
1/half cup of water + 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed together)
-
oil for sauteing
In a pan (no need to use a wok), heat up oil. Saute onions and garlic.
Add the pork, stir, and let it cook.
Add the zucchini, and mushroom. Let that cook until slightly wilted. Then add the napa cabbage, stir for a bit, then add the seasonings; soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Stir together. Cover the pan. Let that cook for about 2-3 minutes.
Add the thickening solution. That’s the cornstarch and water mixture
. This should thicken the stir-fry.
There you go. Nothing to it. A simple stir-fry when you’re craving for Chinese take-out. You can use other veggies you too like broccoli and green beans.
Serve on top of white cooked rice.
