For a foodie who cooks, one of the best things in Summer is the grilling. I love grilling. It’s fun to experiment with ingredients to marinate your meat in. You can buy the bottled ones of course to save time but it’s really fun to open your pantry and use what you’ve already got.
That’s exactly what I did for this hoisin marinated grilled pork.
I bought a pork shoulder roast (with skin) and sliced them in pork chops sizes.
MARINADE INGREDIENTS:
-
soy sauce, 3/4 cups
-
rice cooking wine, 2 tbsp
-
juice of half lemon
-
2 big spoonfuls of hoisin sauce
-
black pepper
-
red pepper flakes, opitonal
Stir everything together in a bowl. Marinate the meat for 2-3 hours or overnight. I suggest the latter
.
Grill both sides. Can’t tell you the time of grilling coz I just go by sight. I think you could too. Just try not to burn them
.
Arrange the grilled pork on a server plate with steamed veggies. I picked broccoli.
Serve with steamed broccoli and white rice. Yummy, Yummy!
